Role and Responsibilities:

You will support and guide school-age children in a structured after-school setting by delivering engaging activities and maintaining a safe environment. You will help foster positive learning experiences while encouraging creativity, teamwork, and independence.

Supervise and ensure the safety of children during after-school hours
Plan and lead educational and recreational activities aligned with curriculum goals
Assist children with homework and academic support tasks
Promote positive behavior and model appropriate social interactions
Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress
Follow all licensing regulations and company policies
Collaborate with team members to enhance program quality

Required Skills and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience working with school-age children in an educational or childcare setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage groups of children in a structured environment
Basic knowledge of child development and learning techniques
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
Previous experience in after-school programs or youth development roles
Familiarity with classroom management strategies
