Role and Responsibilities:

As an Arithmetic Tutor, you will provide individualized lessons that enhance students’ understanding of numbers, operations, and problem-solving techniques. You will design lessons, monitor progress, and encourage a positive learning experience that inspires curiosity and confidence in mathematics.

• Develop and deliver customized arithmetic lessons for students of varying ages and skill levels
• Assess student understanding and adjust teaching methods to suit individual learning needs
• Provide clear explanations and practical examples to enhance comprehension
• Track student progress and maintain accurate records of lessons and improvements
• Prepare students for exams, quizzes, and other academic assessments
• Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages problem-solving
• Use educational tools and resources to create interactive and effective lessons

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong knowledge of arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals
• Experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics, preferably arithmetic
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt explanations to different learning styles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organizational skills to manage lesson plans and track student progress

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
• Experience with online teaching platforms or virtual tutoring
• Familiarity with educational tools and resources for arithmetic instruction
