Developing a "green" school by utilizing renewable energy resources available, thus teaching all members of the Wood School family how to be leaders in self-sustainability, while working towards a more environmentally friendly school. Fostering relationships with all members of the Wood School family, as well as the community at large. Striving for wellness through healthy nutrition, physical activity, and emotional well-being, while building positive self images. Learning experiences beyond the classroom such as field experiences, service learning, involvement in projects, and events that occur within the school day and beyond the classroom, thus fostering relationships within the Wood School family and the greater community.
