Transylvania County Schools seeks a Special Education program teacher at Pisgah Forest Elementary School.

Job Summary:

Position is available November 3, 2025. Position is full-time and includes employment benefits plus a local supplement of 9.0%; 10-month employment term. Teacher will serve students in inclusion classes and support the regular education curriculum.

Qualifications:

Applicants for the position must hold or be eligible to hold NC licensure in area 88091 Special Education: General Curriculum and must be "highly qualified" in the subject area pursuant to federal No Child Left Behind regulations.
