Role and Responsibilities:

The Middle School Teacher plays a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students during a critical stage of their educational journey. This position is responsible for creating engaging learning experiences, fostering student growth, and maintaining a positive classroom environment that promotes achievement and personal responsibility.

• Develop and deliver effective lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student learning objectives.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Assess student performance through assignments, projects, tests, and other evaluation methods.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.
• Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to support academic growth.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance data.
• Implement classroom management strategies that promote a safe and productive learning environment.
• Collaborate with fellow educators, administrators, and support staff to enhance student outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, school initiatives, and educational programs.
• Support students' social-emotional development and encourage positive behavior and citizenship.
• Utilize instructional technology and educational resources to enhance learning experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification preferred.
• Previous teaching experience in an elementary or middle school educational setting.
