Role and Responsibilities:

As a Violin Private Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality violin lessons tailored to each student's unique needs and goals. You will work one-on-one with students to foster their musical development and help them reach their full potential. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing personalized lesson plans that address the student's individual learning pace and goals.
• Teaching violin techniques, music theory, and proper posture to beginners and advanced learners.
• Fostering a love for music through engaging and motivating lessons that inspire creativity and confidence.
• Providing constructive feedback and tracking student progress to ensure continuous improvement.
• Preparing students for performances, exams, or competitions as needed.
• Communicating with students or parents about progress, challenges, and next steps in their musical journey.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in teaching violin or music education, with a strong foundation in music theory.
• Solid knowledge of violin techniques and performance practices.
• Patience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching music.
• Experience creating individualized lesson plans based on student needs and learning styles.
• Fluency in written and spoken English (or other languages, as needed by the student).
• Access to a reliable internet connection and a quiet space for conducting online lessons.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
• Experience preparing students for music exams (e.g., ABRSM, Trinity College, etc.) or performances.
• Ability to teach other musical subjects or instruments is a plus.
