Role and Responsibilities:

As a Dance Tutor, you will guide students through structured lessons, fostering skill development and confidence in various dance styles. You will design engaging sessions tailored to individual learning needs, ensuring students achieve measurable progress.

• Plan and deliver dance lessons in multiple styles (e.g., ballet, hip-hop, contemporary, salsa) to students of varying skill levels.
• Assess students’ abilities and track progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance and technique.
• Motivate and inspire learners through creative and interactive teaching methods.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and age groups.
• Maintain a safe and encouraging learning environment during in-person or online sessions.
• Collaborate with students and parents to set learning goals and monitor achievement.
• Stay updated on current dance trends and teaching methodologies to continuously improve lesson quality.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a dance tutor, instructor, or performer.
• Strong knowledge of dance techniques and styles.
• Ability to create lesson plans and structure sessions effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage learners of all ages.
• Basic familiarity with online teaching platforms and video conferencing tools.
• Patience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal dance training or certification in one or more dance disciplines.
• Experience teaching group classes or workshops.
• Knowledge of choreography and performance preparation.
