Role and Responsibilities:

As a Lead Teacher, you will design, implement, and lead age-appropriate curriculum and engaging classroom activities that support holistic child development. You will create a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment while monitoring and documenting each child’s progress. This role requires strong classroom leadership, creativity in lesson planning, and a commitment to fostering a joyful learning experience for children and team members.

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum aligned with early childhood education standards
• Lead innovative learning activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
• Plan and organize engaging classroom experiences that support developmental milestones
• Ensure the safety, well-being, and supervision of children at all times
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress and developmental growth
• Create a positive and harmonious classroom environment for children and staff
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and communicate effectively with parents and families

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)
• 2+ years of experience in early childhood education or related field
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with parents, staff, and children
• Ability to be patient, creative, collaborative, and passionate about early childhood education
• Experience in planning and delivering educational activities for young learners
• Ability to maintain a safe and structured classroom environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Previous experience in a lead teacher or classroom leadership role
• Background in childcare, education, customer service, healthcare, retail, or similar people-focused roles

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive pay within the range of USD $17.00 - USD $18.50 per hour
