Role and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will guide students through core arithmetic principles, support their mastery of problem-solving techniques, and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs. You will create engaging learning experiences that help students improve accuracy, speed, and conceptual understanding.

Develop and deliver customized arithmetic lessons tailored to each student’s goals.
Explain fundamental arithmetic concepts including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.
Lead students through step-by-step problem-solving techniques to strengthen foundational math skills.
Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to support ongoing improvement.
Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and skill levels.
Communicate with students and families to set learning objectives and track performance.
Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment that promotes confidence and curiosity.

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong understanding of arithmetic and foundational mathematics.
Experience teaching or tutoring math to students of various ages.
Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and simply.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for guiding and motivating learners.
Organizational skills to plan lessons and track student progress effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
Experience preparing students for math assessments or standardized tests.
Teaching or tutoring certifications.
