Role and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will provide personalized arithmetic instruction that reinforces fundamental mathematical concepts and encourages problem-solving skills. You will track student progress, adapt teaching approaches, and foster an engaging, supportive learning environment.

Create and deliver arithmetic lessons customized for students of various ages and abilities
Assess comprehension and modify teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles
Explain mathematical ideas clearly using practical examples to enhance understanding
Maintain detailed records of student progress and lesson outcomes
Prepare students for academic evaluations, including quizzes and exams
Build a positive classroom environment that promotes critical thinking and problem-solving
Incorporate educational tools and resources to make lessons engaging and interactive

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong knowledge of arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals
Previous experience teaching or tutoring mathematics, particularly arithmetic
Ability to explain concepts clearly and adjust instruction for diverse learning styles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills for planning lessons and monitoring student progress

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
Experience with online teaching platforms or virtual tutoring
Familiarity with educational tools and resources for arithmetic instruction
