The Multi-Campus Substitute Teacher (Early Childhood Education) role plays a vital part in maintaining consistent learning experiences, ensuring children continue to thrive even in the absence of regular classroom teachers. You will contribute directly to fostering curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning in young children.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Multi-Campus Substitute Teacher, you will support multiple classrooms and ensure continuity in early childhood education programs. You will step into various teaching environments, adapt quickly, and deliver engaging learning experiences aligned with classroom goals.

• Lead and support innovative early childhood learning activities that encourage cognitive, social, and emotional development
• Maintain a safe, secure, and nurturing classroom environment at all times
• Ensure continuity of instruction by following lesson plans and classroom routines
• Monitor, observe, and document children’s progress and developmental milestones
• Build positive relationships with children, staff, and families to support a collaborative learning environment
• Adapt quickly across multiple campuses and classroom settings as needed
• Promote positive behavior and create a harmonious classroom atmosphere
• Use basic technology tools such as laptops or tablets for classroom documentation and communication

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience in early childhood education or a certified child development center preferred
• Strong passion for working with young children and supporting early learning development
• Ability to follow structured lesson plans and classroom procedures
• Basic proficiency with standard office technology including laptops and tablets
• Strong communication, patience, adaptability, and classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in Montessori or early childhood education settings
• Experience working in multi-classroom or multi-site educational environments
• Early Childhood Education certifications or related training
• Previous substitute teaching or childcare support experience

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive hourly pay ranging from $18.00 – $21.00 per hour (based on a 40-hour week)
• Starting pay range of $19.00 – $22.00 per hour depending on education and experience
