Special Education Teacher

Seeking an educator licensed in special education (moderate disabilities) who is committed to helping students find academic, social, and emotional success in an inclusive setting. The chosen educator will work alongside and in partnership with a content general educator. The co-teachers will create an equitable, inclusive environment that supports students' mental health while presenting them with challenging, rigorous content with a focus on growth.

• -Communicate with parents to foster partnership for school success.
  
  -Collaborate with Director of Pupil Services and Special Education Coordinator as well as school administration regularly
  
  -Ability to facilitate meetings and develop IEP’s through a team process
  
  -Works well with community members, parents, and students
  
  -Excellent written and verbal abilities
  
  -Must hold a valid Massachusetts teaching license
  
  -Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university
  
  -Hold a valid Massachusetts SEI Endorsement
