Role and Responsibilities:

As a STEM Enrichment Teacher, you will design and implement engaging STEM-focused activities that promote exploration, discovery, and hands-on learning. You will inspire curiosity, model scientific thinking, and encourage problem-solving skills among young learners.

Develop and lead age-appropriate STEM lessons and enrichment activities.
Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and experimentation.
Assess student progress and adapt activities to meet diverse learning needs.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate STEM concepts across the curriculum.
Maintain classroom safety and ensure adherence to KinderCare’s educational standards.
Engage families by providing updates on STEM activities and learning outcomes.
Foster curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in all students.

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience designing and implementing STEM or science-based activities for young children.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
Proficient in educational technology tools and age-appropriate STEM resources.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
Knowledge of child development principles and early learning standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching certification or license in Early Childhood Education or STEM-related subjects.
Experience with project-based learning and inquiry-based instruction methods.
Familiarity with coding, robotics, or other hands-on STEM tools for early learners.
