Role and Responsibilities:

You will support the delivery of age-appropriate curriculum and help create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment. In this role, you will work collaboratively with lead teachers to promote children’s cognitive, social, and emotional development while ensuring their well-being.

Assist in leading engaging and innovative learning activities that support early childhood development
Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of children at all times
Support the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum and classroom plans
Monitor and help document children’s progress and developmental milestones
Foster a positive, inclusive, and harmonious classroom environment
Collaborate with teachers and staff to maintain a welcoming learning space
Encourage social interaction, emotional growth, and creativity among students

Required Skills and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED
Ability to work effectively with young children in a structured environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and smartphone
Meet specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation
Genuine interest and passion for working with children

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in early childhood development or CDA certification (preferred but not required)
6 months of experience working in a certified child development center (1 year preferred)
Prior experience working with the assigned age group
Experience in related fields such as customer service, healthcare, or retail

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive hourly pay ranging from USD $17.00 to USD $18.00 based on a 40-hour work week
