Role and Responsibilities:

In the role of Swimming Instructor, you will deliver tailored swimming lessons that are suited to each student's abilities and pace of learning. You will create an encouraging and secure environment, while tracking progress and helping students improve their swimming skills.

Develop customized swimming lesson plans for students of different ages and skill levels.
Teach essential swimming techniques, including freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly.
Provide guidance on water safety and help students build confidence in aquatic environments.
Monitor student progress and offer constructive feedback to support skill enhancement.
Engage students with a variety of drills, exercises, and challenges to strengthen their swimming techniques.
Communicate effectively with students and their families to set goals and track progress.
Stay up to date with best practices in swimming instruction and water safety standards.

Required Skills and Experience:

In-depth knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety procedures.
Experience teaching swimming to individuals of varying ages and skill levels.
Ability to design engaging lesson plans and adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning needs.
Strong organizational skills to manage schedules and track student progress effectively.
Experience maintaining a safe and secure swimming environment in compliance with pool regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in lifeguarding, swimming instruction, or aquatic safety.
Experience coaching competitive swimming or preparing students for swim tests.
Degree or formal training in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
