Long Term Substitute Business Teacher 1.0 FTE

Triton High School is searching for a Business teacher for the 2025-2026 school year who is passionate about developing a love of business and entrepreneurship among our student body. Triton is committed to developing a strong sense of student agency, promoting voice and choice within the classroom as well as the school. We are searching for a teacher who cares deeply about teaching high school students and enjoys working with all types of children.

Triton is seeking an educator with a deep understanding of varied pedagogical approaches to teaching within a business classroom. We believe in making business classes come alive through a hands-on and practical approach, connecting classroom lessons to the real world. We strive to develop authentic learning opportunities to provide deep and meaningful experiences for our students.

The successful candidate will also be highly collaborative and creative in their approach to working with students. The successful candidate will build rapport with students, parents, and families so that each group knows the teacher is fully invested in their success. We hope this individual will work in collaboration with Triton’s business club for leaders (DECA).

Potential Courses:

Accounting, Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship, and Math for Personal Finance.
