Role and Responsibilities:

As an Early Preschool Teacher, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children who are beginning their school journey. You will implement the Balanced Learning® curriculum, support developmental milestones, and foster children’s curiosity, independence, and confidence.

Supervise and manage a classroom of early preschool-aged children, ensuring safety and well-being.
Implement daily lesson plans and schedules in accordance with the Balanced Learning® curriculum.
Support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child.
Observe and document children’s progress and communicate effectively with families.
Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to plan activities and assessments.
Provide positive reinforcement and consistent guidance for behavior.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
Assist with other duties as assigned by the Director or leadership team.

Required Skills and Experience:

Knowledge of early childhood development, especially for children aged 2–3 years.
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and safely handle children when necessary.
Experience in early childhood education or teaching preferred.
Ability to implement structured curriculum and manage classroom routines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

2-year degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
Previous experience as an early preschool or toddler teacher in a licensed program.
Passion for nurturing children and fostering a positive learning environment.
