Teacher

Position Overview:

The Learning Experience is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to create a fun, engaging, and nurturing environment for preschool and kindergarten children. In this role, you will inspire young learners through a growth mindset, implement a structured curriculum, and support the overall development of children in a safe and positive classroom setting.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Create a welcoming and engaging classroom where children can learn, play, and grow.
• Implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum based on the individual needs of each child.
• Follow the CORAdvantage model to observe, assess, and track student progress.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and organized learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress and daily activities.
• Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers within the classroom.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and parent events.
• Support center goals related to enrollment, engagement, and overall success.
• Build strong relationships with families, staff, and leadership.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively and create a positive learning environment.
• Passion for early childhood education and child development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of professional teaching experience.
• Coursework in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience with curriculum implementation and child assessment tools.
