As an Early Childhood Assistant Teacher, you will help build a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment while supporting lead educators in delivering meaningful learning experiences that promote lifelong learning in young children.

Role and Responsibilities:

The Early Childhood Assistant Teacher plays an important role in supporting classroom instruction and daily routines to maintain a structured, positive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. You will collaborate with lead teachers to execute lesson plans, guide classroom activities, and ensure a safe and engaging experience for children.

• Support the delivery of age-appropriate lesson plans and early childhood learning activities
• Assist lead teachers in facilitating interactive, hands-on learning experiences
• Organize and prepare classroom materials, learning resources, and activity areas
• Supervise children during indoor play, outdoor activities, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety
• Monitor and document children’s behavior, development, and learning progress
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment at all times
• Promote positive behavior and support children’s social and emotional growth
• Communicate effectively with lead teachers and staff to ensure smooth daily classroom operations

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma required
• Prior experience working in a licensed childcare, preschool, or early learning setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented classroom environment
• Patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach toward young children
• Ability to maintain child safety and follow structured classroom procedures
• Strong attention to detail and classroom organization skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in early childhood education or child caregiving roles
• Background in customer service, healthcare, or child-focused environments
• Understanding of early childhood development principles
• Interest in professional growth within education and childcare

Compensation and Benefits:
