This is considered a temporary assignment. Schedule is based on student needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a minimum of three years of teaching experience and possess a valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas OR be eligible to obtain an alternative teaching credential. REPA/REPA 3 Licensure Options:

• English as a New Language P-12
• Teachers of English Learners P-12

Must be able to transport self to various locations within the greater Fort Wayne area.

HOURLY RATE:

BASIC FUNCTION:

Provide tutoring services to Title lll Non-Public students in English language development.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Identify Title III Non - Public students under the guidance of the Local Education Authority (LEA) using criteria outlined in the rules and regulations covering Title III.
• Collaborate with teachers of Title III Non - public students to align English language development instruction with general education curriculum.
• Tutor Title lll Non - public students in the area of English language development. Both individually and in small groups in an area outside of the classroom setting; monitor student progress.
• Regularly consult with LEA regarding Title III services for the Non - public site(s) .

crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. While performing th

duties of this job the incumbent is seated or walking at will and must be able push, pull, lift and carry up to 25 pounds .
