Title: Long-Term Substitute History Teacher (one block per school day)

Position Summary: Lincoln-Sudbury Regional School District seeks a qualified History Teacher to cover a leave of absence effective immediately through April 2, 2026.

Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):

*Teach one block per day (block 6)

*Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the LS community

*Plans lessons that meet the individual needs, interests and abilities of the students

*Creates a classroom environment that is inclusive and productive, and maintains appropriate standards of classroom behavior

*Provides timely and appropriate feedback to students, with progress reports as needed

*Communicates with caregivers to discuss student progress

*Pursues professional growth through activities in and out of school

*Cooperates with other professional staff in supporting student learning

*All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

*Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred from an accredited college or university

*Licensed, or eligible for licensure in the appropriate field by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education, to include Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) endorsement

Experience Preferred:

*3 + years educational teaching environment preferred

*High School teaching experience preferred

Salary:

*$25 Short Block/$30 Long Block
