Role and Responsibilities:

As an Arithmetic Instructor, you will offer personalized math instruction to help students strengthen their foundational skills while encouraging critical thinking. You will track student progress, adapt teaching strategies, and maintain a positive, interactive learning atmosphere.

• Create and deliver arithmetic lessons tailored to students' diverse age groups and skill levels
• Assess student comprehension and adjust teaching methods to meet individual learning preferences
• Clarify mathematical concepts using relatable, real-world examples
• Document student progress and maintain thorough lesson records
• Prepare students for academic tests, quizzes, and other assessments
• Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages problem-solving
• Incorporate educational tools and resources to enhance lesson engagement

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong grasp of arithmetic, including operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and working with fractions and decimals
• Experience in teaching or tutoring mathematics, with a focus on arithmetic
• Ability to communicate mathematical concepts clearly and adjust methods for different learning styles
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills for lesson planning and tracking student development
