Role and Responsibilities:

As an Early Childhood Teacher at Primrose School, you will engage young learners in a nurturing, safe, and stimulating classroom environment. You will help children develop foundational skills through age-appropriate activities, guided play, and our research-based Balanced Learning curriculum. This role emphasizes building strong relationships with children and families while fostering social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.

• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment for toddlers and preschool-aged children.
• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans using the Balanced Learning curriculum provided.
• Support children’s individual learning needs and encourage social-emotional development.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for nurturing and educating young children.
• Ability to work collaboratively with co-teachers and staff.
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Understanding of early childhood developmental milestones is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in a licensed early childhood program is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs., including infants and toddlers, safely.
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Familiarity with digital learning platforms for classroom management and curriculum delivery.
