DYS Teacher

Looking for a change from the traditional school model? We are seeking a dedicated teacher to provide engaging, personalized education to high school youth within Department of Youth Services (DYS) programs.

We offer a high-support environment, with no cell phone battles and no lunch duty. Our teachers can focus on what is most important - supporting student success. Our teachers focus on doing what they love to do - working with diverse, multi-grade level students who have complex learning profiles to unlock their potential.

This is a Teacher position located in the Springfield, MA area.

• Aspiring educators- Professionals with experience working with teenagers in academic and support settings are encouraged to apply.
• Current educators- We welcome applicants with a current Massachusetts secondary teacher licensure (8-12; 5-12)*, especially those with experience with students placed at-risk.
• Career-Changers- Professionals seeking to change careers or return to teaching who are willing to obtain certification are also encouraged to apply.

• Small Class Sizes:An average of 5 students or fewer per class (programs are capped at 20 students total).

  Salary range: $57,233 – $81,060
