Beaver Brook Elementary School is looking for a LTS Substitute Grade 2, Teacher from (January 5, 2026 - April 3, 2026) who values equity and social emotional learning and provides access to engaging learning experiences for all students. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated success in building and sustaining strong relationships with students and families, and value ongoing collaboration with colleagues. A solid understanding of grade level standards is required. An ability to provide strong, targeted Tier 1 interventions and a commitment to individualized instruction is preferred. Ideal candidates will have experience with either Restorative Practices or Responsive Classroom and believe that behavior is a form of communication. Experience implementing strategies to support Multilingual Learners is preferred.

•Create lesson plans, aligned with current state and district standards, which drive instruction through formative assessment and differentiation

•Collaborate with colleagues and administration in analyzing data to positively impact student learning
•Engage in reflective practice in concert with supervisor and team aligned to the instructional focus of the school
•Incorporate strategies that support Multilingual Learners into every learning activity
•Communicate effectively with students, families, colleagues, and administrators
