MULTILINGUAL LEARNERS(ML) TUTOR

This position is an excellent entry opportunity to the Lincoln Public Schools and to P-8 public education.

Primary Purpose

To deliver high quality support aimed at accelerating English language learning by exposing students to language support through content-based curriculum.

Contractual Relationship

Position reports to the Assistant Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Differentiates support to meet the needs of individual students across grade levels and classrooms;
• Works closely with the three multilingual learner teachers to ensure the needs of multilingual learners are met and students have access to the curriculum;
• Participates in professional development activities consistent with the district’s goals and needs of English Learners;
• Support students at both The Lincoln School and The Hanscom School.
