Role and Responsibilities:

As a Daycare Support Teacher at Primrose Schools, you will assist lead teachers in delivering a high-quality learning experience for children. You will help supervise daily classroom activities, implement lesson plans, and support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and eager to support a nurturing classroom environment.

Assist lead teachers in the supervision and care of children in the classroom.
Help implement the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum and daily activities.
Observe and document children’s development and daily behavior.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
Provide support during meals, nap times, and outdoor activities.
Communicate with parents as directed by lead teachers.
Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school events.

Required Skills and Experience:

Meet state or local child care licensing requirements.
Previous experience in childcare or educational settings preferred.
Understanding of child development for infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and assist with classroom activities.
Strong communication, teamwork, and classroom support skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of coursework or certification in Early Childhood Education.
Experience assisting in structured preschool or daycare programs.
Knowledge of age-appropriate learning activities and social-emotional development.
Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
