Role and Responsibilities:

As a French Language Tutor, you will guide students of different age groups and proficiency levels in developing strong French language skills. You will deliver individualized instruction that is engaging, goal-oriented, and adaptable to each learner’s needs.

• Conduct one-on-one French tutoring sessions in both virtual and in-person formats.
• Develop personalized lesson plans and learning materials based on student skill levels and learning preferences.
• Evaluate student progress on an ongoing basis and adjust lesson strategies to support improvement.
• Maintain a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere that builds confidence in French speaking, reading, and writing.
• Share detailed and constructive feedback with students and their families regarding performance and development areas.
• Integrate real-world language use and cultural context to encourage French language immersion.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High-level proficiency in French with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience teaching or tutoring French in formal or informal environments.
• Solid knowledge of French grammar, pronunciation, and cultural elements.
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to suit different learning styles and proficiency levels.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for education.
• Reliable internet connectivity to support online tutoring sessions when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or certification in French, linguistics, education, or a related academic field.
• Experience preparing students for French proficiency examinations such as DELF or DALF.
• Background teaching children or adults in individual or group learning settings.
• Comfort using digital teaching tools and online tutoring platforms.
