Role and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will provide personalized arithmetic instruction that reinforces fundamental mathematical concepts and encourages problem-solving skills. You will track student progress, adapt teaching approaches, and foster an engaging, supportive learning environment.

• Create and deliver arithmetic lessons customized for students of various ages and abilities
• Assess comprehension and modify teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles
• Explain mathematical ideas clearly using practical examples to enhance understanding
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and lesson outcomes
• Prepare students for academic evaluations, including quizzes and exams
• Build a positive classroom environment that promotes critical thinking and problem-solving
• Incorporate educational tools and resources to make lessons engaging and interactive

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong knowledge of arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals
• Previous experience teaching or tutoring mathematics, particularly arithmetic
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and adjust instruction for diverse learning styles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills for planning lessons and monitoring student progress
