Enrichment Teacher

Role and Responsibilities:

As an Enrichment Teacher, you will inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning in children by delivering engaging, hands-on enrichment programs that extend learning beyond the classroom.

• Implement KinderCare’s enrichment curriculum to provide fun, educational experiences that complement children’s core learning.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom where children feel encouraged to explore, express themselves, and take on new challenges.
• Support children’s intellectual, physical, social, and emotional growth through developmentally appropriate lessons and positive guidance strategies.
• Inspire curiosity and self-expression by introducing new ideas, encouraging problem-solving, and celebrating each child’s achievements.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child’s progress, interests, and experiences.
• Collaborate with teachers and center leadership to align enrichment activities with KinderCare’s overall educational goals.
• Supervise children closely and follow all state licensing, health, and safety regulations.
• Prepare, organize, and care for classroom materials and equipment to support engaging learning spaces.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children in an educational, childcare, or enrichment setting.
• Passion for inspiring and engaging children through creative, hands-on learning.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to the dynamic energy of a childcare environment.
• Must meet state-specific childcare qualifications and pass background checks.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Physically able to engage with children at their level and participate in indoor and outdoor activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Specialized training or experience in a focus area such as art, music, movement, or STEM education.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent early childhood education certification.
