LVN School Nurse

EMIT Learning is seeking a compassionate and reliable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide dedicated support to students with medical and physical needs for the 2025–2026 academic year. This is a school-based position where you will play a vital role in helping students safely access and participate in their educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

One-on-One Student Support for a student with orthopedic impairment and multiple disabilities, including:

• Diapering and hygiene assistance
• Walking alongside the student’s wheelchair during classroom transitions or outdoor outings
• Riding the school bus with the student both to and from school each day

Medical Support for a second student:

• Active LVN license in the state of California (or applicable state)
• Current CPR certification
• Previous experience with pediatric or school-based nursing preferred
• Comfort with assisting students who have physical disabilities and medical needs
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, aides, and school health teams
