Role and Responsibilities:

As a Lead Teacher at Child Development Schools, you will create a classroom environment filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. You will guide children through meaningful educational experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth while maintaining a safe and welcoming atmosphere.

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and classroom activities
• Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant classroom environment
• Observe and document each child’s development and progress
• Build positive relationships with families through regular communication and conferences
• Complete required documentation including attendance, assessments, and incident reports
• Support children’s social, emotional, and educational development
• Collaborate with teaching staff to create engaging learning experiences

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to pass a background check
• Completion of required childcare training within the designated onboarding period
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for working with children and supporting their development
• Ability to maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment
• Physical ability to meet the demands of working with young children

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education
• Previous experience in a licensed childcare or early education center
• Experience working with toddlers or preschool-age children
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
