Role and Responsibilities:

As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will design and implement age-appropriate curriculum while creating a nurturing and engaging classroom environment. You will lead learning activities that support children’s cognitive, social, and emotional development and ensure their safety and well-being at all times.

Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans
Plan and lead engaging activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth
Monitor and assess student progress and document developmental milestones
Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
Create a positive and harmonious classroom environment
Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance learning experiences
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and development
Support innovative learning practices that encourage creativity and curiosity

Required Skills and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED
2-5 years of prior experience working in a certified child development center
Experience working with the assigned age group
Ability to meet specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with parents and staff
Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and smartphone
Patience, collaboration, creativity, and passion for early childhood education
Genuine interest in working with children

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Development
Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification
Backgrounds in related fields such as customer service, healthcare, or retail

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive pay range of USD $17.00 - USD $18.00 per hour
