JOB GOAL:To work with high school students assisting them with all academic assignments and daily routines.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Works with high school students and supports them in instructional and non-instructional settings.

2.Reinforces learning of materials or skills initially introduced by the classroom teacher.

3. Alerts the regular teacher to any problems or special information about the students.

4. Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as is expected of a fully licensed teacher.

5. Performs related duties as directed by the building principal.

Located in southeastern Massachusetts, Somerset Berkley Regional High School provides a comprehensive liberal arts education to 9-12 grade students from the towns of Somerset and Berkley. SBRHS became a regional high school in 2010. • QUALIFICATIONS:1. Two years of College course work (48 credits) /AS Degree required or
  
  passing score (464) on the Para Pro Assessment
  
  2. Ability to work effectively with adults and students.
  
  3. Effective interpersonal communication skills
  
  4. Experience at the middle school level
  
  Recommended experience at the middle school level

  TERMS OF: In accordance with the existing bargaining agreement with the Somerset EMPLOYMENTParaprofessional Bargaining Unit
  
  SALARY: In accordance with the existing bargaining agreement with the Somerset Paraprofessional Bargaining Unit.
