We are currently hiring Substitute Teacher Aides to fill immediate openings in various school districts. As a Substitute Teacher Aide, you will play an integral role in assisting teachers with daily responsibilities and ensuring that students continue to receive quality educational support.

Role and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will support teachers in maintaining a productive classroom environment when the regular staff is absent. You will help facilitate classroom management and provide individualized assistance to students as needed, ensuring that students stay engaged and on track with their learning objectives.

• Assist with classroom management to ensure students follow rules, stay engaged, and complete assignments.
• Provide academic support to students by reinforcing lessons and offering clarification on assignments.
• Monitor student behavior and maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Assist with lesson implementation based on teacher plans and help students complete instructional activities.
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, hallways, or field trips to ensure safety and accountability.
• Help prepare classroom materials, organize supplies, and support instructional needs.
• Support students with special needs as directed by teachers or school administration.
• Report any issues, concerns, illness, injury, or behavioral matters to the teacher or administration.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the school day.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Patience, flexibility, and the ability to work well with diverse student populations.
• Basic understanding of classroom dynamics and ability to assist with lesson delivery.
• Empathy and desire to help students succeed academically and personally.
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Background check and criminal history clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional education or coursework in education or child development is a plus.
