Qualified candidates will have a drive to support our schools, our classrooms, our educators and our students. Substitute teachers are an integral part of our school community and are essential staff members that step in for our educators during an absence and continue the fun, excitment and learning for our students.

Position Details

Canton Public Schools is made up of 6 schools; Canton High School, Galvin Middle School, Hansen, JFK and Luce Elementary schools and the Rodman Early Childhood Center. Substitute teachers may have access to one or all of our schools.

Substiute teachers are at-wil employees. Our greatest need is at the middle and high school level so preference for those levels may be available.

Qualified candidates will:

• Provide a safe, inclusive, and welcoming learning environment for all learners

• High School Diploma Required, Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Compensation: $110 per day/$130 DESE certified or previously certified.
