Paraprofessional

(Bachelor’s Degree or some college coursework in Education preferred. Experience working with students with special needs at the elementary level preferred. Excellent communication skills. ABA experience preferred.)

Duties to include, but not limited to:

1.The ability to work effectively with students with special needs to reinforce and support learning and skills based on the classroom teacher’s instruction.

2.Assist teachers in devising special strategies for reinforcing and supporting skills.

3.Maintain flexibility and team attitude for responsibilities as assigned by the principal.

4.Provide personal care for students as needed throughout the school day.

5.Attends training as required.

6.Assists with monitoring students taking standardized tests.

7.Assists with other students as needed.

8.Other duties as assigned by principal, teacher, special education teacher, or BCBA

The salaries for these positions are: according to contract

All positions are subject to qualifications, duties and rates of compensation presently in force, and subject to appropriate funding.
