Role and Responsibilities:

As a High School Classroom Teacher, you will play a central role in advancing students’ academic success and overall development. You will be responsible for delivering a structured curriculum, tracking student progress, and creating a learning environment that is both positive and engaging. Core responsibilities include:

Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons designed to challenge students and support strong academic growth.
Evaluate student performance through assignments, assessments, and daily observations while providing timely, constructive feedback.
Apply effective classroom management practices that promote a respectful, focused, and productive learning setting.
Collaborate with colleagues, school leaders, and staff to strengthen student outcomes and maintain alignment with schoolwide priorities.
Maintain ongoing communication with parents and guardians to share student progress and partner on strategies that support student success.
Engage in professional learning sessions, coaching, and training programs to enhance instructional skills and develop leadership abilities.

Required Skills and Experience:

A bachelor’s degree, preferably in a rigorous academic discipline such as biology, chemistry, history, mathematics, English, or engineering.
Ability to manage a classroom of 20 or more students while fostering a supportive and effective learning environment.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Commitment to maintaining high academic expectations and supporting students’ personal growth.
Enthusiasm for the subject area and dedication to ongoing professional development as an educator.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous teaching experience is helpful but not required.
Experience with data-informed instruction and analyzing student performance to improve learning outcomes.
Comfort using classroom technologies and digital tools that enhance instruction.

Compensation and Benefits:

Annual starting salary of $65,000.
