High School Teacher

Role and Responsibilities:

As a High School Teacher at Success Academy, you will play a critical role in the academic growth and personal development of your students. You will be responsible for implementing a proven curriculum, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons that challenge students and promote their academic growth.
• Assess student progress through regular assignments, tests, and observations, providing timely feedback to help students improve.
• Develop and implement effective classroom management strategies that foster a productive and respectful learning environment.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and school leadership to continuously improve student outcomes and ensure alignment with school goals.
• Engage with parents and guardians to share students' progress and work collaboratively to support student success.
• Participate in professional development and coaching sessions to improve instructional skills and grow as a leader.

Required Skills and Experience:

• A bachelor's degree is required, with a rigorous academic major (e.g., biology, chemistry, history, mathematics, English, engineering, etc.).
• Ability to manage a classroom of 20+ students and create an environment conducive to learning.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to high standards of student achievement and personal development.
• Passion for content and a desire to continuously improve and grow as a teacher.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior teaching experience is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with data-driven instruction and analyzing student performance to improve learning outcomes.
• Familiarity with classroom technologies and tools for enhancing instruction.
