Toddler Teacher

Position Overview:

The Learning Experience is seeking a passionate Toddler Teacher to provide a nurturing and engaging environment for children aged 2–3 years. In this role, you will support early childhood development by creating a safe, stimulating atmosphere that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth while fostering a love of learning.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to toddlers.
• Plan daily activities that enhance language, motor, social, and cognitive skills.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs and developmental stages.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding progress, milestones, and concerns.
• Conduct parent-teacher conferences and provide developmental updates.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, including basic first aid when needed.
• Collaborate with staff and participate in meetings and professional development activities.
• Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and developmental milestones.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience working with toddlers in an educational or childcare setting.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a nurturing and structured learning environment.
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for early childhood education.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPR and First Aid certification (in-person).
• Additional training or coursework in Early Childhood Education (ECE).
• Prior experience with curriculum planning and child development assessments.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
