Role and Responsibilities:

As a Certified French Tutor, you will work with learners of different ages and proficiency levels to improve their French language skills. You will deliver customized instruction that is engaging, results-focused, and adaptable to each student’s learning objectives.

Provide one-on-one French tutoring sessions through online or in-person formats.
Create customized lesson plans and educational materials aligned with individual learning styles and skill levels.
Monitor learner progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies to support improvement.
Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment that builds confidence in French speaking, reading, and writing.
Deliver clear and constructive feedback to students and their families regarding progress and areas for development.
Incorporate practical language use and cultural elements to promote French language immersion.

Required Skills and Experience:

Advanced proficiency in French with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Experience teaching or tutoring French in formal or informal learning environments.
Thorough understanding of French grammar, pronunciation, and cultural context.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and proficiency levels.
Strong interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for teaching.
Reliable internet connectivity to support virtual tutoring sessions when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree or certification in French, linguistics, education, or a related academic discipline.
Experience assisting students with preparation for French language proficiency exams such as DELF or DALF.
Background teaching children or adults in one-on-one or group learning settings.
Comfort using digital teaching tools and online tutoring platforms.
