1 Paraprofessional

Support student with activities of daily living (ADLs), including feeding, toileting,

hygiene, and mobility assistance.

Monitor and assist student with medical conditions (e.g., diabetes, asthma, seizures,

allergies) in accordance with individualized health plans and emergency protocols.

Administer first aid and support the implementation of prescribed medical

procedures under the guidance of a licensed nurse or health professional.

Document and report student health concerns, incidents, and progress accurately

and promptly.

Assist with the safe administration of medications as directed by the supervising

nurse and in compliance with regulations.

Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for student.

Collaborate with teachers, nurses, therapists, and other staff to support students’

educational and health-related goals.

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all state, federal, and district policies related

to student health and privacy.

Participate in required training, professional development, and team meetings.
