In the role of Infant & Toddler Assistant Teacher, you support early childhood learning by helping establish a safe, stimulating, and caring classroom environment that promotes the cognitive, emotional, and social development of young children.

Role and Responsibilities:

As an Infant & Toddler Assistant Teacher, you will collaborate with lead educators to deliver age-appropriate learning programs and maintain a well-structured and supportive classroom setting. You will contribute to creating a secure and engaging environment that supports children’s daily learning experiences and developmental milestones.

Assist in executing developmentally suitable lesson plans and classroom activities.
Prepare, arrange, and maintain teaching materials and learning resources for daily instruction.
Supervise children during meals, rest periods, and all scheduled classroom activities.
Ensure a consistently safe, protected, and supportive environment for every child.
Promote interactive and creative learning experiences that enhance early childhood development.
Observe, document, and track children’s growth, behavior, and developmental achievements.
Encourage a respectful, positive, and cooperative classroom culture among children and staff.

Required Skills and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
Prior experience in early childhood education within a licensed childcare or development center.
Hands-on experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children.
Basic ability to operate digital tools such as tablets, laptops, or similar devices.
Strong patience, caring attitude, and genuine interest in supporting child growth and learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

Child Development Associate (CDA) certification or Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) credential.
Background experience in customer service, healthcare, or retail environments considered beneficial.
Interest in building a long-term profession in early childhood education, with possible training support opportunities.

Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly compensation between $17.00 and $19.00, depending on qualifications and experience.
