In the Classroom Assistant Teacher role, you will help create a secure, supportive, and engaging classroom setting while partnering with lead educators to provide meaningful learning experiences that inspire lifelong learning in young children.

Role and Responsibilities:

As an Classroom Assistant Teacher, you will help facilitate classroom instruction and daily activities to maintain a structured, positive, and developmentally appropriate environment. You will work closely with lead teachers to carry out lesson plans, support classroom engagement, and ensure children are cared for in a safe and interactive setting.

Assist with delivering age-appropriate lesson plans and early learning activities
Support lead teachers in providing engaging, hands-on educational experiences
Set up and organize classroom materials, supplies, and activity areas
Monitor children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, and rest times to ensure safety and well-being
Observe and document children’s behavior, growth, and developmental milestones
Ensure the classroom remains clean, organized, and safe at all times
Promote positive behavior and encourage social and emotional development
Maintain clear and effective communication with teachers and staff to support daily classroom operations

Required Skills and Experience:

High School Diploma required
Previous experience in a licensed childcare, preschool, or early education setting
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-based classroom environment
Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a caring approach when working with young children
Ability to prioritize child safety and adhere to structured classroom routines
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in early childhood education or childcare-related roles
Experience in customer service, healthcare, or other child-centered environments
Knowledge of early childhood development concepts
Interest in continuing professional development in education and childcare

Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly pay range: USD $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
