Role and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will support students in strengthening their academic abilities while promoting personal development. You will assist with classroom instruction, provide tailored tutoring, and deliver mentorship that enhances student success.

Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in key subjects including reading, math, and science.
Exemplify positive behavior and model social-emotional skills to students.
Build trusting relationships to foster academic achievement and personal growth.
Collaborate with teachers and staff to assess student needs and monitor progress.
Create and implement strategies to increase student engagement and performance.
Collect and analyze student performance data to guide instructional planning.

Required Skills and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience working with youth in educational or mentorship settings.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective student engagement.
Ability to organize, plan, and deliver targeted academic support.
Commitment to supporting student growth and promoting educational equity.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience tutoring or mentoring students in academic environments.
Knowledge of approaches for diverse learning needs and social-emotional development.
Experience using data-driven methods to monitor and enhance student progress.
