Role and Responsibilities:

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will help students strengthen their understanding and confidence in mathematics through customized instruction. You will adapt teaching methods to individual learning styles and actively guide learners toward consistent and measurable academic progress.

• Develop and deliver personalized mathematics lessons based on each student’s knowledge level, learning goals, and pace.
• Explain mathematical concepts clearly across areas such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
• Support students through practice problems, homework, and assignments to reinforce core concepts.
• Prepare learners for exams, standardized tests, and mathematics competitions.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust lesson plans to address learning challenges.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages engagement and questions.
• Promote the development of problem-solving, analytical thinking, and logical reasoning skills.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong understanding of mathematics, including algebra, geometry, calculus, trigonometry, and statistics.
• Experience tutoring or teaching mathematics at the high school or college level, either formally or informally.
• Ability to communicate complex mathematical ideas in a clear and approachable manner.
• Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to supporting student success.
• Proficiency in online teaching tools such as video conferencing platforms, digital whiteboards, and web-based learning resources.
• Ability to evaluate student performance and adapt instructional strategies to encourage continuous improvement.
• Fluency in written and spoken English, with the ability to work effectively with learners from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Experience supporting students with standardized test preparation or mathematics competitions.
• Familiarity with digital education platforms or interactive online learning tools.
• Additional language skills to assist non-native English-speaking students.
• Certification in teaching or tutoring mathematics.
