Role and Responsibilities:

As a Daycare Teacher at Primrose Schools, you will guide and nurture young children while implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities. You will create a safe and stimulating learning environment that supports social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and eager to contribute to a positive classroom culture.

Supervise and manage daily classroom activities for children in your care.
Implement the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum and daily lesson plans.
Observe, assess, and document each child’s developmental progress.
Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
Provide positive guidance and support for children’s behavior and interactions.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s development and daily activities.
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.

Required Skills and Experience:

Meet state or local child care licensing requirements.
Previous experience in early childhood education or childcare preferred.
Knowledge of child development for infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and assist with classroom activities.
Strong communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Experience implementing structured preschool or daycare programs.
Familiarity with age-appropriate learning activities and social-emotional development.
Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
