Copilot Careers is currently hiring Substitute Classroom Aide for immediate assignments in various school districts. In this role, you will work alongside classroom teachers and help maintain a productive learning setting so students continue to receive academic guidance throughout the day.

Role and Responsibilities:

Substitute Classroom Aide help maintain an organized and supportive classroom when the primary teacher or aide is unavailable. You will assist with instruction, classroom routines, and student engagement to ensure lessons continue smoothly.

• Help students stay focused on classwork and reinforce behavior expectations.
• Offer academic support by answering questions and guiding students through assignments.
• Encourage respectful interactions and promote a positive classroom culture.
• Follow plans left by teachers and assist with daily learning activities.
• Supervise students during recess, mealtimes, hall transitions, and school activities.
• Prepare materials, organize supplies, and assist with general classroom tasks.
• Support students with special needs under teacher or administrator direction.
• Notify school staff of any concerns, injuries, illnesses, or incidents.
• Complete additional duties as needed to support classroom and school operations.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience working with children or in a school environment preferred, but not required.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a positive and orderly learning environment.
• Patience, adaptability, and comfort working with students of different backgrounds.
• Basic knowledge of classroom routines and instructional support.
• Compassion and dedication to student success and well-being.
• Fluent in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Must successfully pass a background check and criminal history clearance.
