Paraprofessional

Position Title: Full-time Paraprofessional

Location:Warren Community Elementary School

Report to: Building Principal/ Director for Student Support Services

Funded by: General Budget

Qualifications:

•Associate’s Degree or Pass Para-Pro Exam

•Experience working with students with significant behavioral challenges (preferred)

•Knowledge of effective instructional techniques and strategies

•Appropriate oral & written communication skills

•Ability to deal effectively with students, co-workers, parents

Responsibilities:

•Provide adequate supervision of students at all times

•Provide instructional support to students

•Take direction from administrators, teachers, and BCBA

•Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and material

•Other duties as assigned

Salary: Per Para-Professional Bargaining Unit Contract
