Role and Responsibilities:

As a Substitute Educator, you will fill in for classroom instructors across various districts to keep instruction on track when a regular teacher is unavailable. This position provides valuable teaching exposure, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to support student success.

Follow established lesson plans and deliver instructional content prepared by the classroom teacher.
Provide clear explanations, address student questions, and keep learners engaged.
Promote a respectful, orderly, and safe classroom setting.
Report injuries, illnesses, or major behavioral incidents to school administration.
Assist students with academic or personal needs as directed, helping foster an inclusive learning environment for diverse learners.
Complete additional duties such as supervising shared spaces, organizing supplies, or taking attendance.

Required Skills and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED.
Certified educators are encouraged to apply, though experience is not required.
Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Professionalism and calm classroom management.
